Joined by fellow Dane, Jan Andersen, an expert in data and offshore operations, they built a next-generation agency to deliver affordable, high-quality sales tailored for web merchants.

The Story
In the competitive world of e-commerce, Søren Mejnertz found remarkable success running Festteam for almost 20 years, a thriving party costume webshop across Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. Despite his achievements, one challenge persisted: the rising costs and underwhelming performance of local PPC (pay-per-click) agencies tasked with driving traffic and sales to his webshop.
Frustrated by the inadequate results despite the hefty fees, Søren began exploring alternatives. He discovered that he could access superior expertise at a fraction of the cost by directly collaborating with highly skilled professionals in India and Bulgaria. This revelation transformed the profitability of his webshop’s marketing efforts and planted the seed of a new business idea.
Realising the potential to reshape how everyday web merchants approached PPC marketing, Søren teamed up with his international partners partners to create Lynchpin Data — a next-generation sales agency built by a web merchant, for web merchants.
The agency was founded on a simple yet powerful principle: make it possible for everyday webshops to combine deep knowledge of the e-commerce business with cost-effective, high-quality international talent to deliver tangible results.
To bring additional depth and experience to the venture, Søren partnered with Jan Andersen, a long-time collaborator with extensive expertise in data management and international business operations. Jan’s insight into leveraging data as CEO of Sheetly, a PIM solution for webshops, and his hands-on experience managing remote teams proved instrumental in solidifying Lynchpin Data's foundation.
Together, Søren and Jan, with their international partners, are building an agency that not only delivers better results for e-commerce merchants but also bridges the gap between Western business expectations and the untapped potential of global talent.
